Well I have to be honest there’s not a great deal to report this month due to spending a big chunk of it on holiday meaning my first local trip didn’t happen until the 22nd of the month.
We were camping at Lyon’s Gate Caravan Park in Dorset which has a few lakes you can fish, nothing serious but you can have a bit of a fun with the Carp while you’re chilling out. I managed plenty of Carp like these.

And even managed to get one on video on the last morning.
First trip back was to St Caths with dad to try for a Smoothound which was a complete blank for both of us.
I followed that up with another Smoothound session, this time on the rocks. It started pretty slow but as the light faded they came on the feed and I finished up with 5 in total, nothing big but I at least managed a common and a starry over the 4lb club minimum as well as a bonus Bass of a couple of pounds.

That only left time for a short experimental Mullet session which was another blank.
No more off island holidays now till September so while I can’t promise more fish in July I hopefully can promise a fair bit more fishing.
